I remember when I was on 7th grade a teacher told a story about his professor, one day he enter his office and saw him smoking, so he advice him on stopping, the strange reaction is that the professor took the cigar from his mouth and put it down without finishing it and never smoked after that, it was this big action done on the most ordinary unexpected ways. I just keep thinking that if he just finished the cigar and said “will stop after this one” he would never stopped, while for most people they need to search for secrets and support to then announce the intention of doing an action
